Expensive Shit

It is no longer news that Babatunde Omidina (A.K.A Baba Suwe), ace comic actor was arrested by the NDLEA on suspicion of drug trafficking on October 12th.

It is  no longer news that He was held for several days (9 days) in the hope that he will excrete whatever drugs he had ingested.

It is no longer news that the NDLEA ran to Federal High Court to get an order to continue to detain Baba Suwe for an extra 15 Days

It is no longer news that news that Baba Suwe sued the NDLEA for 100m,
Neither is it news that he floored the NDLEA in Court, was awarded N25 million compensation. The NDLEA was also ordered to make a public apology to the comedian in two national dailies within 21 days of the judgment and that the said apology must be in conspicuous pages of the said dailies

So where am I headed?
I tried to find some humor in the whole saga, after bullying, begging, cajoling over feeding and inducing the guy for over 3 weeks Plus and 25 trips to the loo, No drugs were found

- For instance being paid 25million for not shitting is certainly one; however it also goes to show that the Agency did not do their homework well or their legal adviser no try at all!!!

-  An NDLEA official was quoted to have said”............The fact remains that this man is using high level juju on us." A government agency should not make such statement when you know it will not be admissible in court or cannot be scientifically proven.

- If it is true, then Baba Suwe used "high level juju", that babalawo don hammer o!!! Plus Baba Suwe can start running a babalawo consulting firm for the babalawo.

Every drug trafficker will want to know the babalawo that fortified Suwe.

- If there was more than one scan that revealed that baba Suwe had some items in him and yet the man did not expel anything after 25 bowel movements, what could it have been ?
The only illogical and irrational conclusion is that what the scan saw may not have been drugs but could be those things strong men swallow protection, in that case if he excretes a million times nothing will come out. E fit be say the man swallow "Ado" small gourds/calabash. (Did I just say that?)

In the end it was an expensive shit!!!
